Reds That Belong Here
The early ripening tendencies of Pinotage and Pinot Noir make them perfectly suited for our terroir with it’s gentle slope, hot summer days and cool evening breezes.
Originating in South Africa in the 1920's, Pinotage is a cross between the silky Pinot Noir and the aromatic Cinsaut grape. In South Africa Cinsaut is called Hermitage, hence the name Pinotage.

Well Heeled Red
Well Heeled Red is a fortified “Sticky” made from Pinotage grapes picked from our estate vineyard late in the harvest. Notes of black cherry, toffee and fruit cake on the nose and palate make this a rich, succulent dessert wine with a lingering finish.
