Going against the grain, winemaker Kristy French started a revolution with this truly unique, dry, partially barrel fermented Gewürztraminer. Due to her passion for winemaking and creativity she decided to take a classic grape and develop it with a new twist.
Exotic aromas of lychee, vanilla bean, jasmine and orange spice are followed by rich, tropical fruit flavours. Finally, warm toasty notes and a lingering creamy finish round off this wine.
All of our grapes are estate grown onsite in South East Kelowna.
Pairing: Gewürztraminer pairs well with exotic foods such as Indian, Middle Eastern or Moroccan cuisine because the sweetness tends to balance out the spicier dishes. Likewise; chicken, duck and shellfish pair well as do mild, softer cheeses.
