For five generations, our families, the Wards and the Turtons, have farmed this captivating South East Kelowna site. The grapes are gently handpicked from our 10 year old vines, and then artfully made into wine in our historic packing house, turned winery. With the warmth of the Okanagan sun, our dazzling lake exposed site, and the sandy loam soils, these grapes are world class!
Tasting notes:
Pinotage’s two ancestors - Pinot Noir and Cinsault give this wine the personality of a more robust, more rustic Pinot Noir. Our spicy 2008 Pinotage has a deep garnet hue and complex aromas of black pepper, dark berry fruits and a hint of chocolate. Slip off your heels, and savour this wine with an evening by the fire, nibbling on a charcuterie platter, or a summer BBQ with your fabulous friends!
Perfect shoes to be wearing while drinking the 2008 Pinotage:
• Louis Vuitton penny loafers.
