Flip Flop on the Hill Top: Caribbean Night with the Kelowna FAB Five

"Flip Flop", comments Brian Sprout of SpierHead Winery is destined to be Kelowna’s ultimate hot-summer-night party. It will be a fun-filled evening of FAB wine, music, food and dancing to the rhythms of Reggae band Chubby Sunshine and Cuban band Major Mambo.

Flip Flop on the Hill Top: Caribbean Night with The Kelowna FAB Five, to be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 7:30 pm at the East Kelowna Community Hall, will support both the Hall itself and children of Haiti. Flip Flop is a benefit concert, says Aura Rose of House of Rose Winery. We are asking everyone to bring a pair of flip-flops for donation to Love Takes Root to benefit the children of Haiti.

Advance tickets for Flip Flop on the Hill Top: Caribbean Night with The Kelowna FAB Five are $10 and available for sale at each of Kelowna’s FAB Five wineries including: House of Rose Winery, The Vibrant Vine, Camelot Vineyards, SpierHead Winery and The View Winery. Tickets will also be available at the door on June 9th for $15.

Cellar Dinner, Dancing and Winemakers Olympics at The View Winery

Cost 70.00 plus HST

Time 5:30pm to 10:30pm

Kick up your heels at The View Winery with an entertaining evening of fine food and wine pairings combined with live music and the excitement of the Winemaker’s Olympics. Participants will be put through their paces in a series of events which will not only test their abilities but entertain onlookers as well. (Participation in Olympic activities is encouraged but not mandatory) Olympic Awards and Closing ceremonies will be followed by dancing to the funky, classic tunes of Peter Glockner and Dave Beaton. Last year was sold out; reservations are required.
